Inside - Rin had heard a commotion, heard a crash.
The door had broken.  What was breaking in?

She ran to hide behind a stack of boxes...

Then came a voice from the trailer itself...
strange and halting...addressing her by name.

Outside - Screamy looked at the fallen remnant
of the thing that was not Tsugaru. Behind him, the
child heard the bossy girl yelling at him to be careful,
but there was no danger left in the poor mangled
wreckage.  He knew that, he had seen some
things like that, when he was very little, when he
and his mommy had left that other place...

Only this time, he had made it happen.

He, Screamy, had killed Tsugaru.

But he had saved the bossy girl...

From having to do it.
