The ominous words echoed in Jack's memory.
He threw the transwarp into full-rotate.  Anywhere...

'All who touch me are drawn in'

The mechanism strained...the ship stayed course.
No craft could escape that terrible pull.
A force more powerful than any gravity drew them toward the green star...
the inescapable grip of destiny, united in space and time...
...united toward one end...that terrible Singularity.

'All who touch me are drawn in'

Sirens were blowing and the crew was scrambling
to battle stations...Jack barely heard...it was useless anyway.
Closer and closer came the green star...

And then something was coming faster...
...something had emerged from the green star.
No ship could escape that terrible pull...

But something clearly could...

Jack felt a sudden surge of dread.
