A lot started, today, years ago...and this is no place to debate the causes or effects of such things, but wherever you or I are sitting, I think we can both agree that we never want to see any of it happen again.
This was also the day that the Apollo 17 crew took the beautiful 'Blue Marble' photo. Maybe in some future December, the wars will all be forgotten,and today will live on in that image of a lovely blue planet veiled in pure white clouds, gleaming with life in the black void of space.
